I'm not 100% sure that it is the issue in your case but you are creating another instance in on the class in order to call the execute method.

Your code can be refactor by simply make the Execute method static:

public class CustomEngines
{
  static void Main(string[] args)
  {
     Execute();
  }

 public static void Execute()
 {
   // do something;
 }

}

Also that is not the .csproj. In order to see the .csproj you need to:

• Right click on the solution -> Unload -> Edit

For what version of Studio are you trying to create the plugin, Studio 2017?

Can you please change the path of the dlls which are referenced with ../ to use the relative path like you have for Sdl.ProjectAutomation.Core for example?
