Dear all,
we currently use a custom machine translation provider plugin to connect our SMT system with Trados Studio 2011 / 2014.
This works very well.
As an improvement, it would be great if the MT plugin could access some of the project META-data in order to further tailor the MT suggestions (e.g. domain specific translations). If the plugin can find out the name of the project, or the field values used in the "All Language Pairs" - "Translation Memory and Automated..." - "Update" settings this would help us tremendously.
I am attaching two screen-shots to indicate what information would be useful for the MT plugin.
It would be great if someone could point me into the right direction.
