How to Initiate the Application of Translation Providers?

Question

It is my understanding that one of the enhancements to the Integration API available with CU10 for Studio 2014 SP2 was that it is now possible to initiate the application of translation providers. 
 
 I have downloaded CU10 and can see the new properties to see the Active File and the Active Project from the Document object. I am not sure which function allows me to initiate the application of a translation provider. Is it the Document.TryTranslateActiveSegment()?
