Hello,
We noticed based on user reports, and checking the SR1 release notes, that the WebView dll versions were updated. This unfortunately causes the Trados 2022 version of the Juremy plugin to have problem, as it can't load its WebView component (it depends on the specific version that 2022 baseline was bundled with).
Some questions around this:
- I assume there's no quick fix available for this, and our best course of action is to build an updated plugin version targeting the new dll versions?
- Is there a way to build a plugin such that it doesn't refer a specific version of a .NET dll, but accepts any available (not sure if that could ultimately work out, but not deeply familiar with the mechanism either).
- Could we somehow have prevented this, like getting a preemptive notification / testing opportunity on the new service release, for future reference?
