Create a batch on existing project

I was just wondering if it’s possible to add more files to an existing project that's 100% translated (but not completed) so the progress goes back to let’s say 80% once a new doc is added.

In the image below, we can see that if we manually add a file to a project that is done (not completed) a new batch is creating and the % progress updated.

I need to replicate this same interactive behavior using sdl API.
