BeGlobal as translationprovider

Is there support to add a BeGlobal TM as a (automated) translation provider in the API? Its available in the UI but it seems it cant be added via TranslationProviderCascadeEntry() so Im guessing its in the Translation Memory API itself but I cant find any references to it. Any pointers would be welcome.

  • Hi Daniel,

    Please see the input from an senior SDL developer;

    The BeGlobal Community translation provider URI is straightforward.

    beglobalcommunity:///

    The BeGlobal Enterprise URI is a ‘little’ more complicated.

    languageweavermt.https://<account-id>-<user-id>:@api.sdlbeglobal.com/?apimodel=REST&touchpointId=<touch-point>&LPLangHashMapping=<lang-directions-including-hash-values>

    E.g. languageweavermt.https://11111-2222:@api.sdlbeglobal.com/?apimodel=REST&touchpointId=3333&LPLangHashMapping=en-fr%253a1263%253ben-pt%253a1264

    For both Community and Enterprise, the user credential store must contain a relevant entry. The BeGlobal Community translation provider will pick up the community account details from the registry if the user has signed up during the Studio install.
