Specify TM User ID for automated TM update

Question

Hi, 
 is there any API method to set up a custom TM User ID to be used during the "Update main TMs" automatic task? I know that this possible through the UI, but I have not found any way to do this in the API. This settings seems to be not project specific, since the same settings is used in all projects. 
 This is a standalone application, not a plugin, and ideally I should be able to use a different TM User ID for the different projects I process with this application.

All automatic tasks are actually Studio plugins thus their specific functionality is not part of the core engine which means it's not exposed via the API.

I think the best would be Translation Memory API but instead to run an import you could just update the fields on the translation unit.
