How to get the project folder by the sdlppx file?

Question

Hi 
 When i open sdlppx file with trados studio 2014 and then click [Open Project Floder] on the current project, i can get the whole project folder which include such as source folder , target folder ,tm folder and so on. I want to know if there is a api method that can achieve this function？ Thank you.

ProjectInfo has a LocalProjectFolder property:

I am not sure if I understand what you want to do with that folder. For example, I recently made a tiny console application to quickly check if a termbase is present in a given ppx package. There, I just use ZipArchive class (available in System.IO.Compression) to check the ppx package contents (since it actually is a zip archive). I can give you more details if needed. 
 
If you want to further process ppx file contents, create a new project first (using FileBasedProject.CreateFromProjectPackage method), and then follow Jesse's advice.
