Hello, everyone,
Is there any way to make certain segments in InDesign untranslatable programatically based on their style names? I can think of ways to do that directly on a sdlxliff file so I'd like to know if that can be programatically done during a sdlxliff/sdlproj creation process and how.

Hi,
in InDesign filter you can configure the locked/invisible layers as not translatable. We don't have the option to lock the text based on style name.

Dear Ryota,
just a thought: If the style name is in the SDLXLIFF file, you could use the API to identify these strings and then set the segment status to locked. We've done something similar to add revision tracking to InDesign files post-translation. You'll need someone to program this though.
