Hi, all, this is my first post here. 

I am a bit bewildered by the profusion of SDK/API's and interfaces, and wonder if anyone who has done anything vaguely like this can at least tell me in which API or even interface(s) to look.   I want to add a command to the right-click menu in the "translation" column, which, when text is mouse-selected there, hands it off to my code to be replaced with what I return.  Clearly, the Concordance provider does something like that. I do not want to translate a whole segment at a time.

I also want to know how plugins (I've seen 3rd party extensions screenshot this) put up their own panel in the upper part of the TRADOS Window.

All I want to know is (1) Is this possible right now by 3rd party extensions (2) Which SDK or which API set should I explore for these capabilities?  Any help at all would be appreciated.
