Losing custom processing-instructions() when publishing to Content Delivery

Question

Oxygen's change-tracking processing-instructions are removed from DITA source XML when publishing to Content Delivery. Is there a way to prevent that via configuration or scripting?

Very important is to know which versions of Knowledge Center are involved here - things do change over time. To me this doesn't sound like configuration, so I would advise to open a support ticket on this.
