Migrating legacy InfoShareConfig.XML to SDL Knowledge center 2016

Question

Hi, 
 I have a legacy Knowledge version which has the InfoShareConfig.XML. 
 I am migrating it to 2016 SP1 KC version. 
 Is there any proper documentation on how to convert the InfoShareConfig.XML into Background services.

The system changed too much, InfoShareConfig.xml was a distributed queue system while BackgroundTask is a database-centralized queuing system allowing future capabilities on more detailed follow-up and reporting. My advice is to reapply the "custom" parts of your InfoShareConfig.xml (so compared to the standard file of your previous version) to the new configuration.
