I am interested in using Content Importer from the command line but the only documentation to use for reference that I can find is
Is there any other documentation that anyone can recommend to help me as the content in this link doesn't provide sufficient detail?

Hi Ann,
You are referring to Docs 13SP2 documentation, so I assume that is the version of software you have.
I cannot tell exactly what has changed when, but the latest fielded release has more documentation, see TD14SP2 - Importing content using the command line
I know Content Importer got several improvements in the last couple of releases.
