In LiveContent Create any nested tags get wrapped in draft-comments?

Question

I am new to LiveContent Create and adding any nested elements get wrapped with draft-comment, I have updated the preferElementsOnlyParent="true" on the nested elements also tried preferText="true" with no luck. Is there a way to remove the draft-comment element from automatically getting added to nested elements?

Are you using the out of the box DITA schema's, or do you have a specialization? 
Our editor will in some cases wrap elements in other elements in order to be able to insert them. In this case it sounds like your nested elements are not allowed directly, but they are allowed if a draft-comment is wrapped around them. 
So I would suggest to look at the schema first, is the situation you want allowed in the schema?
