Getting contextual manual from Pathfinder without using mouse

Hi there, here is an idea from our team which they wish to have it in order to greatly improve the working process in pathfinder.

For our operator, we're trying not to use mouse that much because switching between keyboard and mouse will take extra time.

Is it possible to let our operator to get the contextual menu in the tree view in left hand panel of pathfinder just by pressing keys in keyboard? It will make the whole process more handy if we don't need to switch between mouse and keyboard.

  • Hi Norman,

Can you take a look at an earlier SDL XPP Idea (community.sdl.com/.../override--supercede-pathfinder-menus-and-buttons-to-execute-other-comments), particularly Steve Piercey's first comment on that Idea and specifically point #1 about the context menus (in PathFinder).

Is that point #1 describing what you're asking for here in your Idea?

If not, then please clarify what you mean in your Idea here.

If it is the same thing, then the good news is that the enhancement to have Shift+F10 in PathFinder bring up (or activate) the context (right-mouse-click) menu is already included in the next 9.3.0 release due out later this year. And shift+F10 will do that in both the Tree View and List View (i.e. both the left- and right-hand panels).
