Access to reporting data via QuickSight Reporting via API needed - make it available!

Hello,

we would need to be able to connect to the QuickSights database that our Trados Enterprise tenant has using API calls. The basics on https://docs.aws.amazon.com/quicksight/latest/developerguide/getting-started-making-api-requests.html seem to be targeted at users that user QuickSight for their own AWS account and the RWS support suggested this currently is not available.

I am aware of the possibility to connect PowerBI to the customer Portal, the data available there however is quite limited compared to the capabilities that are possible with QuickSight.

Please allow to somehow expose this via API or make it available to be able connecting to PowerBI similar to https://docs.rws.com/de-DE/trados-enterprise-%26-accelerate-791599/integration-von-microsoft-power-bi-mit-trados-customer-portal-1034198 .

Hi Bernhard, Later this year, we plan to expose a subset of our Custom Reporting datasets so they can be queried using Public API. I'll share more details on this when available, but this should be ready…

Hi Bernhard, we plan to release and announce this new capability next week (w/c 29th September). We're currently finalizing the documentation and preparing the release materials and we'll be good to go.
