Enable sorting of segments in the Online Editor

When trying to compare translations for the same or similar segments we are not able to sort segments A>Z or any type of sorting. This makes it extremely difficult to compare translations of repetitions when filtering by segments that are repetitions.

  • Dear Trados developing team.
Please carefully consider all suggestions made by users in the Trados Community or forums and adopt them whenever possible. The reasons are as follows:

    1. User suggestions represent actual market demands, and these demands directly determine the market share and purchase rate of Trados Studio (desktop software) in the translation industry.

    2. The Trados Community or forums have relatively few users. Although there are only a small number of votes, I would like to point out that many translator and translation companies already have their own preferred other CAT softwares. These users are unlikely to spend time providing suggestions here, or even visiting the Trados Community or forums. I currently use several other CAT softwares as well, including some from China. Each of these CAT software has hundreds of thousands of users, with tens of thousands of active participants in their user communities. This level of engagement far exceeds the activity seen in the Trados Community or forums. Therefore, while the limited number of suggestions and limited votes may be small, this does not mean that these suggestions are not worth considering.
3 Sorting by segment similarity or by alphabetical order of the initial letters in trados studio (computer software) is a good feature. If you have real experience in project management within the translation industry, disregarding these valuable ideas would be truly regrettable and would hinder the development of Trados Studio (computer software).
