Keep Final Revision Mode when editing while Tracking Changes

When working on a segment in the online editor with Track Changes, it is not possible to keep the Final revision mode if something is edited: after any change, the view changes to All Markup. 

Please add the option to stay in Final revision mode while editing a segment when tracking changes.

  • When typing to add a new revision, the Revision Mode will automatically switch to All Markup to display all revisions in the segments. Can you please elaborate on which case you would like to have Revision on Final mode (with Track Changes enabled)?

    Hello! The goal is being able to edit a segment without seeing the markup while still tracking changes. This is similar to what you can already do in Trados Studio or other software like Microsoft Word, where you can toggle between All Markup and Simple Markup (or No Markup). This way, you can see what the text will ultimately look like while you are actively working on it, without losing the ability to track changes.
