More easily show word count broken down by file

In TE it is cumbersome and difficult to find the word count per file to compare with all other files in a project. In the UI it is not feasible to try to do this at all. WorldServer provided an easy view to the overall word count scope of a project split by file. How can we get this functionality back and added to TE?

  • The information is available here in UI. Is this ask purely about the representation, one row per file with columns?

  • Hi Luis,

The current implementation is not user friendly for seeing the full scope of a project at the file level. You have to keep opening each file specifically and it is difficult to quickly compare across files in a project. Additionally, it becomes increasingly difficult the more files you have in a project. We are looking to be able to see the project word count across files in a similar view to how WorldServer showed this for us.
