TQA: Adding a different TQA model per language

In TE, we can define different TQA models per language. It would be handy if you could implement a way for us, admin users, to add a different TQA model per language. At the moment, that feature is available only for the QA Checker.

  • Hi Carla,

Could you elaborate on the use case here a bit more?

    Thanks,
    Luis

  • Yes, sure!

At the moment, at the project template level, we have the ability to configure for example the QA Checker settings for the Arabic language, and to configure differently the QA Checker settings for the Catalan language.

Screenshot of Trados Enterprise QA Checker settings showing enabled status with a list of languages including Afrikaans, Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, Danish, and German.

For the TQA settings, we should be able to do the same. At Belkin, we would like to use a specific TQA model for the Asian languages, and another specific TQA model for the European languages. We don't want to use the same TQA model for all the languages of a specific project template.

Do you think that's something that could be implemented in the system soon?
