Make comments in Trados Team more visible

Currently comments which are added to a Trados Team project when completing a task, are very hard to find. You need to click on the name of a task in the inbox to pull up the details and then scroll down the page to see the comment which appears in the bottom right corner.

We actually didn't know our translation agency was adding comments to the projects until at some point they mentioned it to us.

Could you please make the comments more visible? Ideally they should either be visible in the task overview in the inbox or there should be some kind of a flag notifying the user that there is a comment that should be checked.

  • It would also be helpful if we could reply to comments. As far as I know, this is not possible.

    Hi Robert,

    these comments are about "Task completion" comments. If you send the task back to the original person (through completion and choosing an outcome), you can leave a comment as well.
    Or are you referring to in-file comments in Studio and Online Editor?
    Note: We also have Project Conversations, which enables communication between Project managers and Customer Portal users (we plan to extend this to linguists and other personas in the future).
