Remove the 2000 characrers limit on a segment

We recently encounted an issue with a limitation on a file

Regarding the limitation of 2000 characters for a segment : workaround suggested to re-open the file locally and to split the segments is not a workaround in case you work for an agency only sending you xliff and excpeting from the team not to make any settings update

  • This limit is going to stay, if you are facing issues, that means your segmentation rules need update to split the content appropriately. 2000 characters that is half page of very condensed text, definitely not a sentence which a segment should correspond with.
