Reverting completed projects back to in progress & accessing the project files

It's already possible to revert a completed project back to the status "in progress" but after that there don't appear to be any options available, i.e. you can't open or reassign the project files.

Surel there has to be an option to be able to go forward and BACKWARDS in a project at all stages of the workflow. Customers have amendments and changes at any stage. You can take a project back into "in progress" but if the file is finalised you cannot access the project in an editor anymore to check the work done. This would be a huge step forward in useability.
