I am currently adding many terms to a cloud termbase on the fly, i.e. while I have a text from a cloud project open in Studio.
In the Studio editor, I'm selecting source and target terms and hitting Ctrl+F2, which works fine, except that it only gives me a plain vanilla view of my cloud termbase.
For almost every entry, I want to indicate the source of the SL and TL terms, and the vast majority of those are from the same source (a book called Wundballistik for the German and its English translation Wound Ballistics for the English).
At the moment, for every term, I have to do this:
- Click Add field at term level.
- Select Source from the list of fields.
- Type the name of the source.
- Click the tick button to confirm.
If this were not a cloud project, and I were using a local MultiTerm termbase, I could create an input model with Wundballistik as source for the German and Wound Ballistics for the English, and designate that as default. This would mean that every new entry was created with those sources, which would save me a lot of time and irritation!
Would it be possible to add this functionality to the cloud terminology system?
