Whoa, I know this is a big one, but... I think it's high time to change the approach to terminology extraction. Both rule-based and statistical extraction don't work too well for many languages, and the technology here has been pretty much mature for the last 10 years. It would be a massive improvement and a brave decision to apply neural network to terminology extraction on the similar basis as it was done for machine translation. As far as I know there isn't a single solution on the market, which works this way. And yes - I am aware this requires a lot of research.
