Provide the ability to export and import target rules between projects

I can copy a rule to another project in the Target Path Rules dialog, by dragging it. But this requires me to have both projects open in Passolo. It means I have to remember which project I set up the rule in, so that I can open the correct project for copying from.

Also, if I delete the project that I set up the rule in, and I haven't yet copied it to another project, that means I've lost the rule and will have to set it up again.

  • I strongly second that — we already use rules for handling non-standard files in non-standard locations, and being able to import and export them would significantly streamline our workflow. In this regard, target path rules should behave like string list settings, which are easy to manage and transfer between projects.
