Plain Text function of DeepL Plugin should remove locked content as well as tags

The DeepL Plugin has a “Translate as plain text” function, but it doesn’t remove the locked content before sending the text to DeepL.

An option for the plugin to also remove this type of tag (and its content) when the plain text function is used would be very useful. Spaces should remain exactly as they are in the source text (I suspect that not doing this would create more problems than it solves.

Screenshot showing a text translation comparison. The source text includes tags like 'ext-ti' and 'rep-num' which are not removed in the translated text.

Why would we have an option to completely remove the tags AND their content?  Or do you mean temporarily remove the tags and their content so that DeepL doesn't use it, but then make sure it's replaced in the final translation so you don't lose it.

I am very confused by this request.
