It would be highly beneficial if the ProjectTermExtract plugin could be customized to align with the term information fields in a user’s specific termbase template.

Other plugins offer configurable settings or API extensions that allow users to tailor how the plugin works for them, this plugin does not currently support customization. Our team, for example, has a termbase template specifically designed to meet our needs, but the termbase generated by ProjectTermExtract lacks these additional fields. As a result, we must export terms from the ProjectTermExtract termbase into our own template, which is time-consuming and discourages plugin use. This additional step also decreases translators' motivation to collect terminology. Moreover, essential details—such as references for translated terms and helpful descriptions—are either lost or omitted in this process.

An option allowing users to directly add their own termbase (or termbase template) to this plugin/API would be really helpful.
