Exporting and importing Groupshare TMs

We do have several groupshare TMs with the number of language combination TMs higher than 50.

Sometimes those TMs get corrupted or we want different general settings.

In that case so far, we have to export each language TM manually (do this more than 50 times), create a new TM with all the different language combinations and then import each TM manually.

It would be cool feature, if some of that process could be automated, export all languages at once, import all languages at once, or everythin in one step?

Can this be realized?

  • If you are using GS2015 you can try "Migrating TMs" by Kaleidoscope (free in the App Store). It is a pretty cool tool that does much of what you need. Unfortunately, on GS2017, the tool has some problems with some of the features but they are working on fixing those and hopefully they get that taken care of soon as well.
