In Trados Enterprise there is no such option to choose to "Enable merging segments across paragraphs" as it is in Trados Studio in the project settings (see screenshot below). According to the Trados Enterprise documentation it is possible to merge segments in Online Editor without having to choose that option separately. But if I open a Cloud project in Trados Studio, this option is not enabled per default. So when working on a Cloud project in Trados Studio, it is not possible to merge segments across paragraphs. That is confusing and does not make sense. Please add that option in the File Type Configurations in Trados Enterprise or choose it per default so you can also merge segments when working on Cloud projects in Trados Studio.
