Forward mail to original requester

We have the use case that sometimes a requester asks an assistant to initiate a translation job via the portal on behalf of him/her. This means the assistant creates the project and receives the email to download the translated files from the portal once they are available. The assistant then has to manually forward the translated files to the original requester.

 

We have added a custom field called Original Requester. However, it can only be used for information purposes. It does not trigger an additional notification mail to the original requester. 

When the assistant, who created the project, is out of office, he/she cannot manually forward the files to the original requester.

We would therefore like the system to consider the email entered into the Original Requester field when sending out notifications.

 

Alternatively, the assistant should be able to select the name of the original requester from a dropdown list, which shows the names of the registered users in the system.

This would be a bit similar to the Project Manager field on the Project Creation wizard in Trados Enterprise (not the portal). Here, the project creator can enter the names of project managers, who should receive update notifications.
