Make the status of uploading and downloading files visible

Currently, especially when uploading files, you only get an information, that this may take some time. However, some packages or files may be quite big and this "some time" lasts several minutes, especially when your internet connection is not fast. You cannot see, if the file has been uploaded properly. This is very annoying and needs to be changed asap.
