Add a file type

If a new file type needs to be added, one has to do it within a project under project settings and update the project template. When managing over 30 languages this procedure only means an expenditure of time. What about adding a new file type regardless of a project?

  • How about adding the custom Studio file type to the Default project template via "File -> Setup -> Project Templates -> [Default] -> Edit -> File Types" or simply via "File -> Options -> File Types", so the custom file type is available in all projects to be created in the future.
