Many languages have diacritics. Currently, if a word starts with a diacritic, in order to be triggered on autosuggest the user has to enter it with the diacritic. For example in Greek, that would require 2 keystrokes (diacritic key + letter key). If the diacritics insensitive option was there, it would not require the user to enter the diacritic first.
