Currently Trados Studio supports XSLT 1.0 (this is December 2021 now).
XSLT 2.0 became recommended in 2007.
XSLT 3.0 became recommended in 2017.
It would be good to support at least XSLT 2.0, which has many advantages over 1.0.

We would like to do this, but we can't plan this yet unfortunately, as we would need to rely on Microsoft implementing a library in .NET that we could then use in our product. See https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/t/implement-xslt-30-for-net/351285 for a thread started by developers years ago to ask Microsoft to bring this into .NET. There does not seem to be any movement currently, but if this should change at any point in future, we would bring this back to the backlog. Thanks, Daniel
