Add terms on the go

What I want is having a shortcut to invoke the 'Add new term' dialog with empty source and target fields so that I can add a new term which is not yet typed in the active segment.

My workaround so far is pressing Alt+F2 to type a term in the source column, then type its translation in the target column, then press Alt+F2 again to remove the term.
