I'm using the Alignment function in Studio regularly. The function works, for the most part, just fine - and it is quick as well. So far, so good.

What I'm missing, and what can be quite frustrating at times, is the look of the Alignment window: the aligned segments are not really aligned visually but shifted, making the connecting lines between them also shift, in worst cases even out of the screen.

I wish the developers had taken over the look from the old WinAlign: there the segments are really next to each other, stay together when scrolled. This made the review process really smooth.

I also wish that there were some other functionalities taken over from the old WinAlign: merging and splitting segments. Right now, I can only join segments by manually cutting&pasting text from segments, which, in turn, leaves the view like a mess.

So please, make the Alignment function work as it is supposed to.
