The current one by one duplicate removal function is very cumbersome. And using the third-party editor Heartsome is also not ideal. I would like to see a batch delete of duplicates based on usual filters plus a limited number of special criteria, e.g. delete when source and target are identical, delete oldest translation unit (here the assumption is that newer translations are always better).
