Button to quickly add a new segment to a TM

Currently if you want to add a segment to a TM you have to make a file with your text you need to add, make a project (or use 'translate single file'), add the target TM, put in the translation and confirm. Wouldn't it be easier if there were a button in the 'Translation Memories' view which you could just click to add a segment to the TM you have open and type in your text?
