When translating a text, it is important to know when one paragraph of the source text ends and the next one begins, as the use of paragraphs is a key way of organising ideas on the page.
The "P" in the column at the far right is insufficient - it is far too easy to overlook.
A thick line (possibly coloured) across the entire width of the editor would be a far more user-friendly way of indicating paragraph breaks.
A thinner line could be used for single hard returns and a thicker line for multiple hard returns.
