Hi  - thanks for your idea. It looks more like a bug report, do you think you can report it in the community or to our support team? Just on the .doc format, it is increasingly old and in future we will introduce a .doc -> .docx conversion (and back to .doc at the end) behind the scenes, which may help with this problem also.

Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. While you doing IMT with a (.doc) word file

While I am working on a IMT project, I must use a docx, not a doc, because the doc file  will failed for its <field> tag.

It will give a message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object, and the whole file would not be worked out.

I think it is not usual. I never encounter this before studio 2011. But in 2014 and 2015 this happened. Would you please help us to find the way work it out(not to save it as docx)? We will appreciate it a lot.
