Include diacritical marks and symbols in ribbon

I don't know about everybody else, but adding customization to the file types for diacritical letters is simply hit and miss. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't for me. If only we could have diacritics on the ribbon, life would be a lot simpler. This is part of my grand wish to have a customizable ribbon in general, allowing me to easily add the symbols I need where I need them.

  • Hi Zakiya, have you tried using the "Insert Symbol" feature in the Advanced Ribbon?  That gives you access to all the windows character map and it remembers the last 9 or so that you entered.  These 9 can then have custom shortcuts assigned to them to make it easier to get at them.  Does that help or did you want something else, that you need to describe, altogether?
