It's pretty clearly a functional design BUG, i.e. should NOT be considered as enhancement idea!

Even the related annoyances (only one segment mentioned and assigned to the message reported by the chack + missing reference to the file containing the inconsistent segment) should be considered as functional MUST-HAVE, not enhancements.

Lieven, of course you're right, but that only makes sense when a project includes only a small number of files. I've seen localization projects with 20,000 files - opening all of them at once in virtual merge mode of the Studio editor is not a good idea. That's why I would love to see this as a QA Check, which can be run against the entire project.

If you open all or multiple files in a project at the same time, the F8 check already includes a consistency check in all files. Best regards, Lieven
