Integrate "Record Source" with Studio

"Record Source" is a truly great app that helps me identify which document a given segment comes from.

However it doesn't record the precious info automatically on all the TMs I use for the project and set to update. I first need to select the TM I want to use (or create a new TM), then select "Record Source" for the TM and then remove the TM from my project. It's tedious and unnecessary.

Wouldn't it be easier if Studio asked you on creation of a TM if you want to record all the data and you wouldn't have to worry about it any more? This would save some time when creating a project, and I must admit that half of the time I forget to set "Record Source", thus missing all the info that could have been stored if the whole process was automated.

    I also feel that many users have this need.

    I am also using a workaround to do this, but it is tedious and would be easier if it was integrated into Studio.

    Please see below for my current workaround:

    In the editor view open Project Settings.

    All Language Pairs --> Translation Memory and Automated Translation --> Update

    Then put the name of the file (usually the file you are currently working on) you would like to use as the source for any TM additions you are working on in the project.
