Keep focus/caret in target box when moving from one segment to the next when using Embedded preview (which steals focus/caret)

When moving from one segment to the next in SDL Studio 2017, the Embedded preview steals focus (i.e. the caret disappears for a few seconds).

This is annoying for a number of reasons.

Would it be possible to change it so that focus remains in the target box at all times, irrespective of what the Embedded preview is doing. The Embedded preview sometimes takes quite a while to update, leaving the user forced to wait. If you try to do something while the Embedded preview is redrawing itself, strange things sometimes happen.

  • This is still very annoying. Anyone else want this changed?

  • I still get it in SDL STudio 2019. Everytime I use the Preview feature... whether I leave the preview window open or closed, every time I Confirm a segment, it will randomly loose focus... I can't just continue using the keyboard.. I have to use the mouse to regain control and place the cursor back in the segment. Reaaaaally annoying. It seems to me there's a pop up window that appears in the background and then it dissapears... and in leaves the cursor in the Limbo. But everything starts with using the Preview.
