Make CONTROL + BACKSPACE shortcut delete the word before cursor

While CTRL + DELETE works fine deleting the word after the caret, CTRL + BACKSPACE fails to delete the word before the caret in the following locations:

  • Advanced Filter Display
  • Filter Display
  • Find and Replace
  • Concordance Search

Instead of deleting the word before the caret, CTRL + BACKSPACE inserts a blank rectangle (□):

Please make CTRL + BACKSPACE delete the word before caret, so the behaviour of these 2 shortcuts are consistent everywhere.

For your information: I've checked that both shortcuts CTRL + BACKSPACE and CTRL + DELETE work fine here (Trados Studio 2022, build 17.0.4.13209):

  • Editor: Target edition
  • Editor: Source edition
  • Editor: Edit comments
  • Editor: Termbase Search
  • TM editing
  • MultiTerm: Search
  • MultiTerm: term edition
