The Translation Quality Assessment (TQA) feature currently requires reviewers to make an entry on every change they make to a text, and if they don’t, they can’t continue. This is problematic in a number of scenarios (say, for instance, a translator uses a masculine noun when a feminine noun is needed, resulting in adjective agreements needing to be updated further on in the text). Translators should only be penalized for errors, and not for incidental changes needed to fit with corrections.
In order to use TQA systematically, I need entries to be optional for each change. I do still want changes to be tracked. I understand the impact this could have on scoring, but I'm less concerned about that than about being able to build my quality management framework into a user-friendly tool.
