Thanks for the update Michael - we did make some changes in this area more recently, so it's great to hear this is now solved.

Merging or splitting segments mucks up word count

Merging or splitting segments in the Editor mucks up the word count and percentages. This bug has persisted for YEARS. I know SDL personnel have dismissed it as low-priority, but it really is a highly visible and annoying error and undermines trust in the application's basic functions.
