Merging sqlQAsettings files

My clients generally send me sdlqasettings files, that include their QA checker rules.
But I also have a set of rules developped on my own, that I want to use on top of theirs.
I already tried to tamper the sqlQAsettings file in a code editor to insert my own bloc of RegEx rules, but it doesn't work very well. Also, it would be borring to do it for everyproject.
Any mean to merge two sqlQAsettings file would be welcome.

    You can import your sdlqasettings file into your project settings (the new rules will be added to yours) so you can have both your rules and client rules:

    Dropdown menu under the 'Action' button showing options like Add item, Update item, Remove item, Clear items, Examples, Export items, Import items, Filter items, and Clear filter.

    If you do the above import to a project template for that particular client, assuming that rules haven’t changed, you’ll just need to create a new project from that project template.
