Only extract the visible part of embedded Excel for translation

As described in this KB article, you can only choose between two scenarii when working with embedded Excel data in Word or PowerPoint:

  • all content is extracted from the embedded Excel, including data not appearing in the document or the presentation
  • content from the embedded Excel is not processed

There should be an option to only extract the content for translation which is visible, without all underlying data. This should be possible without having to modify the formatting of the embedded Excel.
